Planning- Pitch Feedback

 For most of our pitch feedback, people were intrigued to know who the masked ones were. We made our film like a conventional horror film and who the masked ones are is going to remain mysterious. Furthermore they wanted to know most of the context so we told them these barbaric happenings were taking part in a civilised society. We thought about having speech in our film opening but from our feedback we realised that this could take away the tension so we decided not to have any. We initially thought to have white titles come up on the screen yet we decided as a group that this is more conventional for a fantasy film so instead we will use a dark tension; setting an atmosphere for the audience. There isn't going to be any dialogue for the masked ones as we'd like to leave many questions open for our audience like who they are and why they're doing what they're doing. We will be using lots of canted and movement based shots in order to depict our genre (horror) as we need to build as much tension for the audience as we can and they need to notice that not all is right. For our film to be successful we will have to keep filming and editing to add in extra parts as we need to make sure we create tension as much as we possibly can.
