This week we have primarily focused on progressing with our research into
our role. Georgia, the editor has focused on the cinematic and producing a
graphic for our team whilst everyday trying to learn more about the editing
process from you tube videos. Mitch and I focused on the story board and got
that completed whilst Georgia told us about the transitions she was thinking
about so that we could incorporate this. Mitch, the cinematographer has been
vigorously researching into his role and trying to finish his research into
similar films. Meanwhile I have sorted out our shot schedule so that we are
able to read our shots easily when we get to filming and I also have
continued to research in directing.
|
Next week we will try to carry on researching into our roles. Also we
will try to sort out actually starting to film and creating our film opening.
|
We will all do this but Mitchell and I in particular will start the
filming process and try to confirm our
actors for definite and have a look at our location for our film opening so we can decide what particular part of the location and how we will get our best shots with the lighting and sound in this area. whilst Georgia continues to learn from editing tutorials
online.

This week we progressed into looking at our location and we found a specific area in order to do this. Georgia carried on researching into editing for premier pro. She's progressively getting a lot better and Mitch is also getting a lot better cinematography whilst he is constantly looking into shots.

This week we have continued and finished our research we have decided to constantly look into our roles even during the filming process just so we can get everything as good as we can and our final product will look effective.
|
Start to film
|
All of us need to go to the location to film and we also need to continue looking into our roles, depending what it is. We have extra time in order to change any decisions if need be.

This week we have started the filming process. We got our initial filming and shots that we said we would have on our story board, cinematic and shot list. We made sure that these shots looked clear and effective when we sat together and watched back our filming.
|
We decided that we needed to add more shots to our film as firstly it was quite short and secondly, from the screening of our animatic we found that our titles weren't as conventional. We have looked into other film titles and found the conventions so that we're able to create our own a lot more effectively.
|
We all need to go to our filming location once again so we are able to get more shots in order to create an effective film opening.

This week we completed our planning and filled in the gaps that we didn't have before. Georgia is now rapidly editing and making sure that she creates the best most anticipating film opening that we can.
|
Georgia needs to continue to edit. Mitch and I are starting to look into our evaluations and bringing extra ideas to the table.
Georgia and I will will continue to watch other horror films so that they are able to influence us. |
We all need to cooperate in order to get our film opening finished on time.

This week Georgia has continued to edit whilst Mitch and I started to evaluate. She regularly shows us a screening of what we have so far so that we are able to tell her our opinions and if we'd like anything to change we have contributed our ideas and helped her look into things if need be. Since our planning we have changed a lot of decisions of how we wanted our film opening to be as we found that it looked more effective and it would be a lot more tense for the audience.
